2018-19 Top Moments: Men's Soccer Closes Season on a High Note, Makes NAC Tournament

The University of Maine at Farmington made the playoffs this year and had a few highlights during the season. At the start of the season, the team beat in-state non-conference rival USM 3-1.

The Beavers took a 2-0 lead in the 1st half with goals from Yusuf Mohamed and Sawyer Deroche. After USM answered with a goal UMF put the game away with a goal by Derek McLaughlin. Jake Heimlich had the lone assist for the Beavers on the 1st goal. The Beavers finished the season strong winning their last two conference games to make the playoffs. The wins were against UMPI (2-0) and Northern Vermont Lyndon (6-0).

UMF was lead by First Team All-Conference selection Andrew Longhurst who had two goals and two assists. He also was the leader of the defensive unit for the Beavers.
