Chase Malloy has Career Day in Doubleheader Sweep over Colby-Sawyer

Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's baseball team continues their hot streak with a doubleheader sweep over Colby-Sawyer on Sunday afternoon to make their winning streak six in a row.

Game One (W, 5-4)

  • Ryan Pratt went seven innings, giving up nine hits and four earned runs with one strikeout.
  • Chase Malloy went 1-4 with an RBI while Riley Bartell went 2-3 with one run.
  • Jake Bessey went 1-4 with an RBI and one run while Tyler Flayhan went 2-3 with an RBI and a run.
  • Joey Fenuccio went 3-4 with two RBI's for the Chargers while Brendan Thurber went 2-4 with a run.
  • Noah Yeingst went six innings, giving up six hits, three earned runs with five strikeouts. Andrew Carbone went 1.2 innings, giving up one hit and one earned run.

Game Two (W, 14-5)

  • Chase Malloy went 2-5 with six RBI's and three runs with a grand slam while Nate Pushard went 3-4 with two RBI's.
  • Jimmy Parks and Nick Attaliades-Ryan each tallied two RBi's while Jake Bessey and Tyler Flayhan each notched one RBI.
  • Brett Elliot walked in his first career at-bat on senior day.
  • Gavin Arsenault went six innings, giving up five hits and four earned runs while Ethan Nash closed out the game striking out the side.
  • Charlie Danaher went 1-3 with two RBI's for the Chargers while Brendan Thurber and Drew Inglesi each notched one RBI.
  •   Connor Henry went five innings, giving up nine hits, eight earned runs with two walks while Owen Cottle went one inning, giving up two hits and three runs.
