Golf Team is Sixth After Day One of USM Fall Classic

GORHAM, Maine - UMaine-Farmington golf team is in sixth place after day one of the USM Fall Classic being played at the Gorham Country Club.  Senior Justin Rodrigue shot a seven-over 78 to lead UMF. Rodrigue is tied for 10th place and is four shots behind the leaders.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • After Rodrigue, Junior Charles DeHaas carded a 79 and is tied for 13th place individually.
  • Senior Matt Pelletier came in with an 82 and sophomore Nate Poulin finished at 89 for the top four scorers for the Beavers
  • St. Joes' Trevor Flanagan and USM's Parker Sanderson finished with 74 to lead as top individual medalists.
  • USM has the team lead with 303, followed by UNE (306), USM (322), and Castleton University (322)
