Babson Park, MA – UMaine-Farmington's men's basketball team was edged out by Babson on Saturday afternoon in the Babson Tournament by a final score of 79-76.

BY THE NUMBERS

  • The Beavers shot 45.6% from the field (31-68), 50% from deep (5-10) and went 9-15 at the free throw line (60%) while notching 33 rebounds, 16 assists, and 10 steals.
  • Babson shot 41.8% today (23-55), 40.6% from three-point land and 83.3% at the free throw line while tallying 39 rebounds, 18 assists, seven steals and nine blocks on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Milani Hicks notched his first double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds while Amir Moss added 20 points on 7-13 shooting.
  • Riley Robinson totaled 14 points with five rebounds, three assists, and two steals as Bill Ruby contributed 12 points.
  • Issac Witham added eight points with two assists and three steals.
  • Andrew Jaworski scored a game-high 22 points on 5-13 shooting and 4-8 from behind the arc to go along with a perfect 8-8 at the free throw line.
  • Frank Oftring added 18 points with nine rebounds, six assists, and two blocks.
