Beavers Propel Past the Rams

Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington men's soccer team's second-half surge propels the Beavers over Unity College by a final score of 5-0.

BY THE NUMBERS

  • The Beavers outshot the Rams 19-5 on the day along with an 8-1 edge in corner kicks.
  • Unity had a total of four saves on the day while Michael Pingree had one save.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Yusuf Mohamed scored the first goal for the Beavers in the first half at the 9:11 minute-mark while Tristan Price had the assist. Mohamed took three shots on the day while Price took one and scored the second goal of the game seven minutes into the second half.
  • Jon Randolph scored on an assist from Silas Mohlar. Randolph took three shots on the day. Ethan Cooper scored the third goal for the Beavers on a breakaway after beating two defenders down the middle.  
  • Ilyas Abdi scored the fifth goal of the game for the Beavers off an assist from Aden Biwe.
