Beavers Break School Records at the Maine State Meet

Topsham, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's men's track and field team competed at the State of Maine meet on Saturday hosted by Bowdoin College.

Isiaah Boria broke the school record in the Discus with a distance of 28.44 meters followed by David Doering who also broke the school record in the 800 meter with a time of 2:01.15 for ninth place. Isaiah Reid broke a personal record in the same race with a time of 2:06.18.

Tom Wing and Corbin Bouchard also broke their personal records with a time of 11:17.09 in the 3000-meter steeplechase as Bouchard had a time of 29.02 in the 200-meter dash.

Garrett Fisher also ran in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.62 for a personal record. Abshir Abukar took 11th place in the 400 meter with a time of 54.24 followed by Davion Jackson with a time of 56:00. Thomas Dupuy took 15th place with a time of 57:22.

Connor Marland ran in the 1500 meter run and finished with a time of 4:45.32 as Jordan Fried took 15th in the 5000-meter run with a time of 18:31.73.

Ben Toribio took 12th in the long jump with a distance of 5.65 meters. Isiaah Boria took 11th in the shot put after a distance of 9.15 meters
