Beavers Finish NAC Championships

Boston, Mass. – UMaine-Farmington men's track and field team competed at the North Atlantic Conference Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Regis College.

Thomas Dupuy ran the 200-meter dash for a time of 25.71 for 33rd place out of 47 runners followed by Garrett Fisher and Corbin Bouchard.

Abshir Abukar took 13th place in the 400-meter with a time of 53.72 followed by Davion Jackson who finished in 18th place with a time of 55.09. Thomas Dupuy finished with a time of 56.66. Joe Ashby took seventh place in the men's 800-meter run with a time of 2:04.28 with David Doering finishing in ninth place with a time of 2:04.82. Isaiah Reid finished in 27th place with a time of 2:20.17 followed by a time of 4:31.35 in the men's 1500-meter run.

Jordan Fried ran the 10000-meter run with a time of 38:47.44. Connor Marland ran the 3000-meter steeplechase and finished in sixth place with a time of 10:41.01 with Thomas Wing taking 10th with a time of 11:04.08.

The men's 4*800-meter relay brook another school record with a time of 8:34.84 for a third-place finish. Ben Toribio took 22nd in the long jump with a distance of 5.49 meters with Thomas Dupuy and Corbin Bouchard had a distance of 4.68 and 4.69 meters.

Isiaah Boria threw the shot put 9.32 meters for 28th place followed by a discus throw of 24.20 meters.
