Women's Alpine Heads to Titcomb Mt.

Farmington, Maine - UMF women's Alpine enters their first weekend of the regular season on January 14th.  Even with the weather not being ideal before the race UMF is excited and ready to compete at Titcomb Mt. Reynolds Slalom.  

The women's team has newcomers that will look to make an impact this season.  The newcomers are led by our strong group of returners. 

On the women's team welcomes 6 new skiers to the team.  Welcoming four freshmen, Brianna Marquis (NH), Jenny Hancock (NH), Paige Dutterer (ME), and Valerie Gillis (ME). Also looking to make their debut this weekend is sophomore Alicia Gaeiro (ME), and senior Sandy Mait (ME).  Returning to the women's team this year is captain Jessica Freeborn (MA), Audrey Kahrs (MA), and Destiny White(ME).  New to the team Alexa Pelletier will not be racing due to an injury early in our training season.  She will be very missed on the hill! 

The women's team is young however brings strong team support and hidden speed.  We look forward to seeing them ski to their potential in the Reynolds GS opener.
