Four Beavers Earn Post Season Honors

Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington women's alpine team has four athletes named to USCSA Reynolds Division All-Division Team.

Alexa Pelletier led the Beavers with a second-place finish with 576 points after a strong season for the Beavers. On February 3rd, at Shawnee Peak, Pelletier took first place overall for her lone win of the year. Pelletier took second place four times throughout the year with two-second place finishes to close out the year at Titcomb Mountain.

Jenny Hancock rounded out the First Team All-Division with an eighth-place finish with 265 points after finishing the year on a strong note. Hancock took fourth place and third place at Titcomb Mountain after getting off to a slow start at the beginning of the year.

Erin Guilmet has been named to Second Team All-Division with an 11th place finish with 246 points. Guilmet best result came on February 10th at Lost Valley with a fifth-place finish. Guilmet also took sixth-place at Lost Valley on January 19th.

Alicia Gaiero rounded out the Beavers on the All-Division list with a 13th place finish with 195 points after closing the season out on a high note. Gaiero took 13th place and 12th place this past weekend at Titcomb Mountain to go along with back-to-back 10th place finishes on February 3rd and February 9th. On January 27th, Gaiero finished a career-best in ninth place helping the Beavers to a first-place finish this season to help lead the Beavers to a USCSA Reynolds Division title.
