Beavers Edged Out by SUNY Canton

Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington women's basketball team was edged out by SUNY Canton on Friday night by a final score of 60-49 in Dearborn Gymnasium in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) battle.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Beavers were led by McKenna Brodeur with 16 points after shooting 7-12 from the field with 10 rebounds and three blocks as Paige Carter finished with nine points and six rebounds.
  • Haley Felkel added eight points with four rebounds as Makayla Wilson finished with six points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block.
  • Breanna Cullers led all scorers with 25 points on 11-21 shooting with six rebounds, two assists, and two steals as Antanasia Chambers added a double-double with 17 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and five steals.
  • Autumn Watkins added 10 points with five rebounds as Jenifer Morgan-Aubin finished with two points and six rebounds.
