Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's women's lacrosse team is set to play in the first round of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) playoff's tomorrow night at New England College.

Why: NEC (8-7, 5-2) claimed the No. 3 seed while UMF (6-9,3-4) earned the No. 6 seed.
The Beavers played New England College early on in the season on March 17th in Henniker, N.H. with the final score 18-4, NEC on top.
In the game, Sierra Gilley scored two goals for the Beavers on five shots while notching an assist. Isabella Monbouquette scored her first goal as a Beaver after taking four shots and notching one ground ball while Keilly Lynch scored a goal of her own with three ground balls.
New England College's Tara Bainbridge scored six goals for NEC on 14 shots and notched four assists, six ground balls, and caused two turnovers. Alana Scott scored five goals on eight shots with one assist and two ground balls. Caitlin Shanahan scored three goals and notched a ground ball.
Heather Boland played 60 minutes for the Beavers, making 14 saves on 32 shots while McKenzie Gallasso played the first half for the Pilgrims, making six saves on seven shots. Emma Harvey played the second half of the game, making seven saves on 10 shots.
