The University of Maine-Farmington women's soccer team and head coach Molly Wilkie have announced the 2018 schedule, starting with two home games in their opening weekend hosting Plymouth St and Regis(Mass) on August 31st and September 1st. UMF will play a new look schedule this year as there has been a change in the North Atlantic Conference.
After their season-opening weekend, the Beavers travel to New England College where they will play Wentworth (September 7th) and New England College (September 8th). After a mid-week trip to the University of New England (September 12th) the Beavers will open conference play with a home game against Maine Maritime Academy (September 15th). After a non-conference trip to Bowdoin (September 16th), the Beavers finish out the month against conference rivals Husson (September 22nd) and at home against Thomas (September 29th).
UMF starts the month of October at home playing non-conference opponent Southern Maine (October 2nd) before hosting a game versus newly added NAC member SUNY Canton (October 6). The Beavers then go on the road for three games playing at Saint Joseph's College of Maine (October 8th) before a conference weekend against Northern Vermont-Johnson (October 13th) and Castleton (October 14th). The Beavers then return home for their last non-conference game against Colby (October 17th). They then finish out the year at new conference opponent Maine-Presque Isle (October 20th) and at home against Northern Vermont-Lyndon. (October 23rd) The Beavers hope to get back to the conference playoffs this year and make some noise once they get there.
