Farmington, Maine – McKenna Brodeur scores twice as Beavers roll past SUNY Canton 3-1 on senior day in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action on Saturday afternoon.

RECORDS

  • The Beavers move to 5-8-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the NAC while the Kangaroos fall to 4-10-1 overall and 3-3-1 in NAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • McKenna Brodeur scored at the 20:20 mark to give the Beavers a 1-0 lead followed by a Madison Rowe goal to tie the game at one.
  • Late in the first half, Emily Larochelle scored off an assist from Haley Fletcher to make it 2-1 at half time.
  • Brodeur scored in the opening 10 minutes of the second half as the Beavers never looked back.
  • Mikayla Cameron started in goal for the Beavers, making one save on two shots as Callie Hammer made two saves on two shots. Jenny Ward made seven saves for the Kangaroos.
