Box Score DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- Mount Saint Vincent topped the University of Maine at Farmington men's basketball team 77-64 in the consolation game of the Hampton Inn Classic at University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
Yusuf Iman (Auburn, Maine) received all-tournament accolades for the Beavers, who dropped to 0-3 and are off until Dec. 2 when they open North Atlantic Conference play against Castleton State College.
Pet Sumner (Cramerton, N.C.) paced UMF with 13 points, while Iman and Andrew Dickey (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) each dropped in 10 points. Joe McCloskey (Howland, Maine) chipped in with eight points and a team-best nine rebounds in the loss with Dan Kane (Bradford, Maine) handing out six assists.
Jon Moore led all scorers with 21 points for the Dolphins. Moore buried six threes in the win. Mark Waite and Shaquille Cunningham added 14 and 13 points, respectively in the win.
