Box Score FARMINGTON, ME – UMaine-Farmington fell to the Bowdoin Polar Bears Saturday afternoon in Dearborn Gymnasium by a score of 85-63.

The Beavers fall to 2-6 overall while the Polar Bears move to 5-3 overall.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Issac Witham scored team high 12 points going 4-11 from the field and 2-6 from behind the arc.
- Riley Robinson finished with 10 points, also shooting 4-11 from the field and 2-2 at the charity stripe.
- Jack Simonds held the top scoring mark with 30 points going 12-18 from the field and 3-6 from three-point land for Bowdoin.
- The Polar Bears shot 53.2 percent from the field, went 10-19 from behind the arc giving them a 52.6 percent for threes and went 9-9 at the free throw line.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The game started off with Witham hitting a jumper a minute and a half into the game. 30 seconds later Simonds came right back down the floor and hit a quick jumper of his own.
The Beavers jumped out to an 8-2 lead in the opening five minutes of the game. Then a Robinson layup gave the Beavers a 13-6 lead.
With just under nine minutes to play, the Polar Bears took the lead when Hugh O'Neil hit a layup (20-18).
Bowdoin went on a 25-13 run to close out the first half which gave them a 45-33 lead.
Jimmie Chaisson started the second half with a quick jumper followed by a Simonds layup. Witham hit a three to close the gap to 12 points.
With about 10 minutes left to play Eric Berry hit a layup to pull within 11 points but the Polar Bears continued to keep up the pressure with a couple back to back threes.
Jack Hewitt hit a jump shot which closed out the win for the Polar Bears with a final score of 85-63.
