Alpine Closes out Reynolds Division

UMF Alpine had an eventful last regular season race at Lost Valley in Auburn, Me.  Both mens and womens teams looked for individual bests today to qualify for the ECSC Regional Championships at West Mtn, NY.

Womens Alpine

Erin Buckland finished 8th overall today. The team score was rounded out by Paige Butterfield and Destiny White in 11th and 16th to palce 3rd as a team today.  Buckland landed the individual bid to ECSC Regional Championships.  Buckland finished 4th overall for the season in the Reynolds Division.  

Mens Alpine

Jed Stevens and Kyle Farrington led the beavers today with a 3rd and 5th overall finish.  The men were rounded out with a strong finish by Mitchell Golas in 15th.  Farrington and Stevens finished the season posting 2nd (Farrington) and 3rd (Stevens) in the Reynolds Division.  This marks the highest finish for individual men from UMF Alpine in a few years. 

Notable today was Braden Brothers with 2 epic hikes, both in his first run, to show his Beaver Pride, skiing for the 'University First' theme the team has established.
