Freeride's Final Weekend before Nationals

The UMF Snowboard/Freeski team cranked out some excellent results at the USASA snowboard/skier cross event at Sugarloaf mountain today. Despite the unseasonably warm temperatures, heavy fog,  rain, some sun and plenty of gusty wind all coupled with a typical fast and technical track at Sugarloaf the UMF riders were on point. Sophmore snowboarder Whitney LeMay rode strong and fast to come away with a second place finish in the women's open division. Junior Freeskier Vaughn Keenhold had the line all day to take home a first in Men's Freeski Jams (18-22) while sophmore Connor Dunn snagged a first in Mens snowboard Jams.
The crew hits the track again tomorrow for more snow cross action.
