In the first meeting, the Beavers hosted UMaine- Presque Isle on December 13th in an 87-59 win. Issac Witham led the Beavers with 18 points on the night after shooting 7-8 from the floor and 4-5 from behind the arc. Amir Moss added 15 points with nine rebounds, four-assist, and one steal as Bill Ruby finished with 13 points, five rebounds, four assists, and one steal. TeVon Hines led the Owls in scoring with 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal as DeAndre Duncombe added 10 points with three rebounds and an assist. In the second meeting, the Beavers again hosted UMaine- Presque Isle on December 14th in a 98-78 win. Issac Witham led the Beavers and held a game-high 20 points on 7-8 shooting with four three-pointers and three assists. Terion Moss added 18 points with two rebounds, four assists, and one steal as Riley Robinson added 15 points with six rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Griffin Guerrette led the Owls with 18 points on 7-12 shooting with three three-pointers as TeVon Hines added 10 points with three rebounds, three assists, and one steal.
KEY MATCHUPS
The Beavers will look for NAC Player of the Year Terion Moss to pace the offense with his scoring and playmaking ability. The Beavers will also lean on their senior-led team to provide veteran leadership and big plays. The Owls of Presque Isle will rely on the perimeter play of Shyquinn Dix and Griffen Guerette to lead their offense.
