Biography

2012-13: Capital One/CoSIDA Second Team Academic All-America… NAC Player of the Year… First Team All-NAC… Maine collegiate Player of the Year and First Team All-State, as voted by the MMBCWA… started all 27 games, averaging 31.5 minutes per game… averaged 20.0 points and 10.4 rebounds, leading the NAC in both categories… 30th among all Division III players in scoring and 20th in rebounding… scored in double-digits in 26 of 27 games… recorded 16 double-doubles, ranked seventh in Division III… his .590 FG percentage was 22nd in Division III and led the NAC (using NCAA minimums)…  recorded 13 20-point games… reached his season high of 30 points at Green Mountain (12/1)… grabbed a season high 19 rebounds against Johnson State (2/10)… recorded 24 blocks and 28 assists for UMaine-Farmington… earned NAC Player of the Week honors on four occasions: Dec. 10, Jan. 14, Jan. 21, and Feb. 11… reached the 1,000-point mark on February 12, 2013, with 15 points at Husson, becoming the 24th UMaine-Farmington men’s basketball player to reach the 1,000-point mark… NAC All-Academic Team selection, and named to NABC Honors Court.

2011-12: NAC Defensive Player of the Year… First Team All-NAC… MMBCWA First Team All-State… played in 21 games during his sophomore campaign, making 20 starts… led UMF and ranked fifth in the NAC with 16.0 ppg… paced both the Beavers and the NAC with 10.6 rpg, and was the only player in the conference to average in double-figures for rebounds… ranked 18th among Division III leaders in rebounding average… finished the season with 12 double-doubles… logged 19 games with double-digit scoring… scored 20-or-more on six occasions, led by his 26-point performance against Husson (2/14) with 10-of-15 shooting from the floor to go with 13 rebounds… grabbed a season high 18 rebounds against Colby-Sawyer (2/24) in the NAC tournament… was UMF’s leading scorer in 10 games in 2011-12.

Why UMF? I could play basketball here, it has a strong liberal arts and social science department, and its close to home.
