Pickarts '22 joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2022-23 season. As a student Pickarts transferred to UMF in the Fall of 2019 from Colorado. She skied and ran track for the university before deciding in her senior year that Track was the focus--400m and 200m being her main events. Pickarts holds two school records in the relay events and a USTFCCCA Technical Certification. Upon graduating, Pickarts couldn't think of a better option than to stay with her fellow Beavers and assistant coach. She earned a dual degree in Creative Writing and English, and currently works as an admissions counselor at the University of Maine Farmington.
