Athletic achievements: Barnes was the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year, All-NAC First Team and All-New England Team in 2009. ... She was the NCAA Division III national statistical leader in home runs per game and slugging percentage. .... Also a member of the Farmington women's soccer team, Barnes was an All-NAC First Team honoree in 2009 and an All-NAC Second Team and team rookie of the year in 2008.
Academic achievements: Barnes has been on the Dean's List.
