Mitchell was named to the All-North Atlantic Conference Second Team and earned NAC Rookie of the Week honors three times in 2008. ... She is also a member of the Farmington softball team, receiving All-NAC Second Team honors in 2009. ... At Portsmouth, she captained her volleyball and softball teams, earning All-State honors twice in softball and team MVP in volleyball.
