Olivia Paradis enters her first season as the head softball coach at the University of Maine at Farmington after being named to the position in July 2026.
No stranger to the Beaver softball program, Paradis returns to her alma mater after a standout five-year playing career at UMF. A 2025 graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, she was a five-year starter and four-year team captain for the Beavers. Over the course of her career, Paradis appeared in 126 games with 123 starts, primarily at second base, while compiling a .279 career batting average with 95 hits and 16 extra-base hits.
Paradis concluded her collegiate career with her strongest season, batting a career-best .362 while earning North Atlantic Conference (NAC) East Division First Team All-Conference honors and Maine Collegiate Baseball & Softball Association (MCBSA) All-State Second Team recognition.
Prior to returning to Farmington, Paradis served as the head coach of the 18U New England Elite softball team based in Gray, Maine. Since joining the organization in November 2021, she has gained extensive experience in player development, mentoring student-athletes through the collegiate recruiting process, and building a positive team culture. She began her coaching career as a volunteer coach with the Southern Maine River Rats travel softball organization in Saco, Maine.
Following her graduation from UMF, Paradis spent one year as a fourth-grade general education teacher with the Biddeford School Department before returning to Farmington to lead the Beaver softball program.
