MACHIAS, Maine -- The University of Maine at Farmington men's soccer team opened its season with a 2-0 non-conference win over the University of Maine at Machias this afternoon.

The Beavers (1-0) are slated to visit University of Maine at Presque Isle Sunday at 2 p.m.

Jordan Hale (Falmouth, Maine) scored with 9:52 left in the first half to give UMF a 1-0 advantage. Jake Constantine (Woodland, N.J.) pushed the score to 2-0 15 minutes into the second half.
