Box Score

FARMINGTON, Maine- University of Maine at Farmington men's soccer (4-9-0, 2-4-0) took down Johnson State College (2-11-0, 1-6-0) to win back to back conference games.  The Beavers scored a goal in both halves to take the 2-0 victory on Saturday.

In the first half, Nick Marshall (Portsmouth, R.I./Portsmouth) scored at 6:24 to give the Beavers the early lead.  Marshall would take a crossing pass from Ethan Stufoso (South Portland, Maine/South Portland) and fire it into the back of the net, giving the Beavers a 1-0 lead at the break.

UMF would pressure their offensive end for the majority of the second half but were unable to convert on its opportunities until Jon Randolph (Buckfield, Maine/Buckfield) took a pass from Robbie Paddack (Clinton, Maine/Lawrence) and scored his first career goal for the final margin of victory.

Ronie Morales (Houston, Texas/George W. Hewlett) saved all five shots he faced to earn the win in goal.  Garrit Lane turned away 11 shots in the loss for the Badgers.

UMF held a 30-7 advantage in shots and 6-2 in corners.
