Box Score FARMINGTON, Maine - University of Maine at Farmington men's soccer (4-12-0, 2-7-0) ended their season by dropping a 4-0 game to New England College (9-9-0, 5-4-0) in frigid temperatures on Sunday.
The game was the last for four UMF senior's who were recognized before the game. Henry Ametti (Skowhegan, Maine/Skowhegan), Ronie Morales (Houston, Texas/George W. Hewlett), Tayoung Nuyepga (Framingham, Mass./Framingham), and Spencer Lloyd-Rees (South Portland, Maine/South Portland).
New England College broke into the scoring column first in a very evenly played start to the first half. Brian Jumpp scored on a pass from Ronsard Masamba at 29:05. 20 seconds later Masamba scored a goal of his own at 29:25, it was Masamba's seventh goal of the season. Christian Villatorao added a goal in the 42nd minute on a Kyle Clements assist sending the Pilgrims into the break with a 3-0 lead.
Peter Allen scored the only goal in the second half for the final margin of victory.
Ronie Morales saved six shots taking the loss. Maxime Danis didn't have to save a shot in getting the win, his fourth of the season.
UMaine-Farmington finishes the season eighth in the NAC final regular season standings.
