Box Score NASHUA, N.H. -- University of Maine at Farmington men's soccer (2-2) surrendered a late goal in Sunday's to fall 2-1 at Rivier College (2-2) in non-conference action.
The game was scoreless until Kyle Gambeski scored with 37 minutes remaining for Rivier on a penalty kick.
UMF answered back with its own penalty pick five minutes later when Henry Ametti (Skowhegan, Maine/Skowhegan lined up and booted in the tying score.
The Raiders tallied the decisive goal from Alex Armstrong with only a tick under the six-minute mark for the eventual game-winner.
Matt Wilson (Hamden, Conn./Hamden) stopped three shots in net for the Beavers.
UMaine-Farmington starts conference play on Saturday at Lyndon State.
