Alpine Closes out the Weekend in NH

Ragged Mountain, NH - UMF Alpine men worked hard to maintain competitive standings today at the MacConnell Division GS at Ragged Mountain NH.

Freshman Curtis Paradis led the men's team results with a strong 24th place finish overall. Captain Jed Stevens led the men after the first run but slid to 29th overall during a high-speed 2nd run GS set.  Freshman Axel Lindsay rounded out this weekend with a 34th place finish overall.

Ben Higgins, worked hard to stay competitive with a 49th overall finish.  Sophomore Kyle Farrington had a GS run for the record books until during a compression at the bottom of the pitch put him on his side for a DNF 1st run, followed by a 32nd result 2nd run.

A good chunk of rest and back at it next weekend as the men look to stay on top of the Reynolds Division.

"This young group of men had a great opportunity to ski outside their conference this past weekend and learned how hard they have to go to be competitive against the top Div.II-III schools in the east." - Coach Willihan
