Men's Alpine Finishes First At Slalom Races

FARMINGTON, Maine - UMF men tackled a full day of racing with 2 SL races at Titcomb Mountain.  The UMF men came out on top in the first race taking top honors in 1st place.  Race one was led by Captain Jedediah Stevens placing 2nd overall followed by freshman Axel Lindsay in 4th and sophomore Kyle Farrington in 5th. Rounding out the top ten was sophomore Curtis Paradis in 7th place.  
 
Race 2 men's alpine took 2nd place overall led by freshman Axel Lindsay in 2nd place.  Sophomore Kyle Farrington placed 4th and Curtis Paradis in 6th rounded out UMF's top 3.  Captain Mike Miller finished in the top 10 with a 9th place overall.  Notable, captain Jedediah Stevens had a tough first run with a hike but placed 2nd in the second run.
 
Men's Alpine looks to ski to their potential in the Reynolds Division GS race tomorrow (Sunday 1/28) at Sugarloaf.
