Men's Alpine Skiing

Beavers Take First for both Thompson and Reynolds Division

Sunday River - UMaine-Farmington Alpine Men took top honors today as they had two men on the overall podium as well as took team overall for both Thompson and Reynolds Division.

Freshman Axel Lindsay led the men to an outstanding win today with a first place overall.  Following Lindsay was junior and captain Jedediah Stevens with a third place over all with huge move from 8th first run to a podium overall.  Farmington men were rounded out by freshman Charlie de Haas making a massive move from 46th first run to 15th-second run with a 20th overall. Notable Curtis Paradis looked to represent Farmington's top 3 for the day but struggled 2nd run to connect and disqualified due to a straddle 2nd run.

"The men showed great composure 2nd run and followed through with the game plan to be the best skier on the hill versus putting it all on the line.  Very proud of our team today and look forward to the rest of the season."

The men look forward to Reynold's Division GS at Mt. Abram tomorrow 2/4/2018.
