Beavers Battle at Regionals at Sugarloaf

 

Sugarloaf – UMaine-Farmington men's alpine team took ninth place at the USCSA Regionals in the GS on Saturday with a total time of 6:11.21.

Taylor Davis led the Beavers with a time of 56.22 in run one and a time of 56.02 in run two for a total time of 1:52.24. Jedediah Stevens finished in 22nd place with a time of 58.18 and 56.09 for a total time of 1:54.27.

 

On Sunday, the Beavers took eighth place with a time of 2:16.19 in the SL.

Kyle Farrington took 18th place with a time of 44.68 while Zachary Berliner took 25th place with a time of 45.53.

Jedediah Stevens finished in 27th with a time of 45.98.

The mountain was shut down due to weather which caused the teams to cancel their second run.

As a team, the Beavers finished tied for seventh with a total of 17 points on the weekend.
