Nashua, N.H. – UMaine-Farmington's men's soccer team defeated Rivier University by a final score of 1-0 on Tuesday night in non-conference action on Joanne Merrill Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• James Pelletier scored the lone goal for the Beavers in the 63^rd minute to give the Beavers a 1-0 lead.
• Andrew Longhurst took five shots on the night as Cade McHugh took three shots.
• Kelvin Cortez took four shots for the Raiders to lead the way as Brandon Silva took three shots.
• Jacob Statires (1-0) picked up three saves in the victory as Jonah Sautter had one save for the Beavers.
• Collin Deyarmin (1-7-1) made four saves for Rivier.
