Box Score Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington was edged out by Bates College on Tuesday afternoon by a final score of 2-0 on Leib Field in non-conference action.
BY THE NUMBERS
The Beavers were outshot 19-4 on the day with 10 shots in the first half and nine in the second half for the Bobcats. UMF had a total of 14 saves while Bates had two.
Corner kicks went in the Bobcats favor with eight of them.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Peder Bakken scored the first goal for the Bobcats at the 28:00-minute mark to give Bates the early 1-0 lead with Myles Guerrier on the assist.
- Owen Keleher scored the second goal with Ciaran Bardong with the assist.
- Bradley Neal made 14 saves on 16 shots for the Beavers as David Goodstein had two saves for the Bobcats.
- Jake Heimlich took shots for the Beavers as Aric Belanger took one.
