Beavers Close Out Regular Season Against Thomas

Farmington, Maine – On Wednesday night, The UMaine-Farmington Beavers wrapped up their regular season hosting the Thomas Terriers. Both teams played a tough contest throughout, but the Terriers edged out the Beavers 67-62.

In the Box:

  • Tia Day was the high point scorer for the Beavers, dropping 16 points on 5-14 shooting. Day went 4-10 behind the three-point line, along with two assists and a rebound.
  • Alex Bessey ended with 14 points, shooting 5-9 from the floor and 3-4 from the free-throw line. Bessey's stat line included two assists, one steal, and one block.
  • Page Brown put up with seven points and six rebounds, while McKenna Brodeur put up six points and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
  • Addie Brinkman led the way for the Terriers with 19 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks. Kaylee Ravagli followed up with 15 points and six rebounds.

The Playoffs! The UMF Women's team will host Northern Vermont University-Johnson Badgers for round one of the North Atlantic Conference playoffs. Tip-off is expected to be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22nd at Dearborn Gymnasium.
