Beavers Qualify for Nationals

Sugarloaf, Maine – UMaine-Farmington men's alpine qualified for USCSA Nationals after a fourth-place finish at Sugarloaf on Sunday.

Zachary Berliner took 11th place overall with a total time of 1:25.41 with a time of 43.24 in run one and a time of 42.17 in run two. Simon Spear took 14th place after a time of 42.44 in run one and a time of 44.90 in run two for a total time of 1:27.34.

Kyle Farrington rounded out the Beavers top three with a 16th place finish after a time of 43.05 in run one and a time of 44.58 in run two for a total time of 1:27.63.

"The men showed they knew how to adjust to the setting and capitalize on the strength of their skiing. Now we head to nationals where the men will have the opportunity to go all out on a national stage at White Face NY" said coach Willihan.
