DELHI, New York – First-year Gracien Mukwa scored on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute to lift the University of Maine at Farmington men's soccer team to a huge 1-0 victory over SUNY Delhi in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play on Sunday afternoon. 

Mukwa scored his fourth goal of the season as UMF improved to 6-1-0 overall and 3-1-0 in the NAC. Mukwa lead the Beavers' offense with six shots on goal as teammates Cade McHugh and Jimmy Pelletier added two each.

UMF junior goalkeeper Jonah Sautter made two saves to earn his second career shutout. Bronco junior goalie Jonathan Walch saved seven shots in the loss.

The Beavers' offense held a 15-6 advantage in shots and 7-4 in corner kicks.

UMF returns to NAC action on Saturday as the Beavers will host Northern Vermont-Lyndon on Prescott Field at 3:30 pm. SUNY Delhi travels to Hartwick on Wednesday for a 6 pm contest.
