WEST FARMINGTON, Maine – The University of Maine at Farmington men's Alpine team finished first while the women's team was second in a USCSA Reynolds Division giant slalom event, held Sunday at Titcomb Mountain.
The event was originally slated to be held at Sugarloaf Resort in Carrabassett Valley, Maine, but was moved to Titcomb Mountain early Sunday.
In the men's GS event, Zach Berliner took first place with a combined time of 1:11.94, with a first run time of 35.94 – fastest run of the day for the Beavers.
Simon Spear was third overall with a time of 1:12.79, while Jacob Roy was fifth with a combined time of 1:13.98.

In the women's giant slalom event, Abigail Landry was the top UMaine-Farmington skier for the second day in a row, posting a combined time of 1:20.87 and finishing fourth.
Grace Mahmood was 10th overall with a combined time of 1:24.03, while Paloma Shelton was 11th with a combined time of 1:24.54.
