PRESQUE ISLE, Maine - University of Maine at Farmington senior forward Kyle Donlin was 0-5 from three for the first 39 minutes and 30 seconds of Friday evenings North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest against the University of Maine at Presque. Despite the off shooting night, Donlin didn't hesitate, delivering a massive three-pointer from the left wing to give the Beavers a lead in the closing seconds. The Beavers buckled down defensively, not allowing the Owls to get a good look and sealed the 75-72 victory on the road improving to 12-7 on the season and 8-1 in NAC play.
The game was highly competitive throughout with both teams' largest lead being seven points. The game saw six lead changes in the first half as each team struggled to pull away from the other.
