How It Happened:

Saint Joseph's jumped ahead in the first quarter when Maya Waryas opened the scoring in the first minute, redirecting a feed from Ava Markham into the cage to make it 1-0. Less than four minutes later, the Monks doubled their advantage as Kienna Haley finished off a penalty-corner sequence set up by Sadie Tirrell and Zoey Lailer, giving Saint Joseph's a 2-0 lead after the first quarter.

The Monks continued to apply pressure in the second, outshooting the Beavers 6-0 in the frame. Tirrell extended the margin midway through the quarter, converting on a setup from Waryas to make it 3-0 at halftime.

Farmington found life early in the third quarter when Gabby Vincentsen (Bristol, Maine) scored her fourth goal of the season in the 41st minute, knocking in a rebound off a shot from Mikayla Wilcox (Farmington, Maine) to cut the deficit to 3-1. However, Saint Joseph's quickly answered less than three minutes later as Waryas struck again off a corner from Lailer, pushing the lead back to three.

The Monks broke the game open in the fourth quarter with three more tallies. Kienna Haley, Ava Markham, and Sadie Tirrell each found the back of the cage in the final 10 minutes, with assists credited to Waryas and Lailer, sealing the 7-1 final.
