Women’s Track and Field: Day Two at New England Championships

BOSTON, Massachusetts – The University of Maine at Farmington women's track and field team wrapped up their 2024-25 indoor season on Saturday, during day two of the NCAA Division III New England Championships, hosted at The Track in Boston, Massachusetts.

After a strong performance on day one, highlighted by the 4x200-meter relay team breaking the program record by over three seconds, the Beavers competed in the 4x400-meter relay on Saturday.

The team, consisting of Carrie Burr (Pittsfield, Maine), Kennedy Toddy (Scarborough, Maine), Lina Martinez Nocito (Mt. Vernon, Maine), and Anna MacDonald (Bangor, Maine), finished with a time of 4:18.22, placing 19th overall in the event.

Individually, junior Erica Johnson (Nobleboro, Maine) qualified for the triple jump but did not compete in the event.

Farmington will return to the track on March 29th for their outdoor season opener at Southern New Hampshire University.
