Burr Sets Program Record at MIT Last Chance Qualifier

CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts - University of Maine at Farmington senior Carrie Burr (Pittsfield, maine) finished off her Beaver career in style, breaking her own program record in the 400 meters this afternoon at the MIT Last Chance Qualifier.

Burr traveled to MIT today looking to clinch a spot at the NCAA Division III National Championship. The senior finished the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.50, setting the record and placing ninth overall in the event. The time for Burr did not meet the qualification standard necessary to qualify for the National Championships.

With the conclusion of today's meet, the 2025 women's track and field season has come to an end.
