The trio of Bliss, Capano, and Willey formed a dynamic defensive line for the Beavers during the 2024 season and throughout their careers. Bliss started in all 15 games this season for the Beavers, leading the team in minutes played with 875. She registered one defensive save. Over the course of her three-year career, Bliss appeared in and started in 45 games, totaling 2,668 minutes. Bliss was also named the Central Maine Collegiate Field Hockey Conference (CMCFHC) Co-Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Capano served as a captain the past two seasons, starting in all 15 games as well while totaling 829 minutes played. Similarly to Bliss, Capano graduated early, forgoing her final year of eligibility and finishing her career having played in 43 games, making 36 starts across three years with the Beavers. Capano earned her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English back in May. Capano and Bliss each received CSC Academic All-District honors for the second consecutive year.
Willey received CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in her career. The four-year starter for the Beavers played in and started in 13 games this season for the Beavers, leading the team in defensive saves with two. Willey has been a staple on defense for the Beavers throughout her career, making 56 appearances, including 43 starts. Willey finished her career with an impressive 12 defensive saves.
Farrar, Forrest, and Cotnoir each played valuable roles this season for the women's lacrosse team while also setting an example for academic excellence.
Farrar was a bit of a "swiss army knife" this season for the Beavers, seeing time at multiple positions on the field, but primarily served as a defender. During her senior season, Farrar started in all 13 games for the Beavers, totaling eight goals and five assists for a total of 13 points. She also recorded one game-winning goal, a team-high 21 caused turnovers, and picked up 28 ground balls. Farrar was named to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) First Team All-Conference. Farrar completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in May and will pursue a Master's of Science in Psychology. The CSC Academic All-District honor is the second in as many years for Farrar.
Forrest was the vocal leader throughout her career for the Beavers, and the 2025 season was no different. The four-year starter made 13 starts and helped lead the backline this season for Farmington. Forrest totaled nine caused turnovers and picked up 14 ground balls this season. She finished her career with 51 appearances, making 50 starts, scoring four goals with one assist, 70 ground balls, and 46 caused turnovers. A two-sport athlete, Forrest was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for soccer each of the past two seasons. This is her first time receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for women's lacrosse.
Cotnoir earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the second straight year. After primarily seeing time as a defender during the 2024 season, Cotnoir made the full-time switch to goalkeeper during the 2025 season for the Beavers. Making 13 starts between the pipes, Cotnoir finished the season making 126 saves and carrying a .423 save percentage. Cotnoir also finished the season leading the team with 44 ground balls while adding eight caused turnovers. Cotnoir is an Outdoor Recreation Business Administration major and is on track to complete her Bachelor's Degree in the Spring of 2026.
