FARMINGTON, Maine – University of Maine at Farmington first-year guard Kytana Williamson (Nobleboro, Maine) was named the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association (MWBCA) Co-Rookie of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

The honor marks Williamson's second in as many days, as she was also named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Rookie of the Week on Monday.

Williamson played a significant role on both ends of the floor in helping push the Beavers to a 3-0 week. She averaged 8.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while playing 19 minutes per night.

Williamson kicked off the week with a six-point, three-steal, three-rebound, and four-assist performance against VTSU Lyndon in 17 minutes off the bench.

Against VTSU Johnson on Tuesday, Williamson was perfect from the field, shooting 3-of-3 while posting seven points and four rebounds in the Beavers' wire-to-wire victory.

Williamson played a key role in Farmington's road victory on Saturday against Maine Maritime. She recorded a career-high 13 points, shooting 3-for-5 from beyond the arc, all of which proved crucial in the 69-58 win. Williamson also added a career-high seven rebounds.

Williamson has appeared in 13 games this season, coming off the bench in all of them, and is averaging 4.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
