How it Happened:

The Beavers came out strong in the opening quarter, generating several early scoring opportunities. Autumn Freeman (Byron, Maine) converted on the seventh penalty corner of the quarter, finding the back of the cage off an assist from Ashley Merchant (Lebanon, Maine) to give the Beavers a 1-0 advantage.

Farmington continued to apply pressure in the second quarter and doubled its lead at the 21:30 mark when Freeman scored her second goal of the game following yet another penalty corner.

The Beavers added another tally less than five minutes later as Izzy Derosby (Waterville, Maine) found the back of the cage at 26:15 to push the advantage to 3-0 heading into halftime.

The Beavers maintained their offensive momentum in the third quarter. At the 40:39 mark, Elyse Nadeau (Glenburn, Maine) converted a third penalty corner goal. Nadeau inserted the corner and then was credited with the goal off an assist from Freeman to extend Farmington's lead to 4-0.

Farmington's defense was phenomenal throughout the game, limiting the Pride to just two shot attempts through the opening three quarters of play.
