Harvey Receives 2nd Team All-Conference Nod

WATERVILLE, Maine - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) office announced the recipients of the 2026 men's golf postseason awards on Thursday afternoon. University of Maine at Farmington sophomore standout Caleb Harvey (Bath, Maine) was named to the All-Conference Second Team after tying for 11th overall at the 2026 NAC Championship, a two-day event held October 9-10 at Bangor Municipal Golf Course.

The top 12 golfers at the championship received All-Conference honors, with finishers one through six earning First Team recognition and finishers seven through 12 being named to the Second Team.

Harvey, who has been remarkably consistent for the Beavers all season, opened the event with his best round of the 2026 season, finishing three-over par with a 74 to lead the way for Farmington. Harvey was tied for 10th overall after the opening round, recording one birdie and 13 pars while shooting a 37 on both the front and back nine.

In his second round of the weekend, Harvey carded a 10-over-par 81 to finish 13-over par for the event with a two-day total of 155. Harvey recorded one birdie once again, birdying the par-five 15th hole for the second consecutive day. He shot a 39 on the front nine and a 42 on the back nine.

For the season, Harvey finished with an 18-hole scoring average of 78.8 and never shot higher than an 83. Individually, he tied for ninth overall in two tournaments: the Colby Invitational, where he shot a 77, and the Husky Classic, where he carded a 75, which was his lowest score of the season at the time.

Being named to the All-Conference Second Team marks the first time Harvey has received All-Conference recognition in his collegiate career. He becomes the first Farmington golfer to earn the honor since Neil LaRochelle III '25 was named to the All-Conference Second Team in 2024.

Junior Trent Beaudoin (Farmington, Maine) was also recognized by the NAC on Thursday, earning a spot on the Sportsmanship Team.
