Bio (achievements/awards) :

Played 4 years of varsity soccer and was a captain for 3 years. Helped our team reach Western Maine Regional Finals two times, with one being a win my senior year. I was selected for All-Conference for my junior and senior year and broke the record for most goals and assists within my high school career.

General info pertinent to a soccer bio:

I have had a passion for soccer ever since I was young. I spent many of my childhood years growing up in Brazil, which was what really made me fall in love with the sport itself and everything it is. Over time I took that passion and turned it into something that would benefit me physically and mentally. Has gave me the chance to be able to play 4 excitement filled years of soccer in high school no wwhat led me to the collegiate level.

Why you chose UMF:

I was a junior when I really decided what career I wanted to pursue. I had figured that I loved science and the idea of being involved with a school, where I can also hopefully be able to continue my pursuit for soccer in coaching. I was approached by teachers and the former coach of UMF asking if I was interested in attending and playing for UMF and their soccer program. When I found out that teaching was one of the college’s focuses, I couldn’t find a reason to look anywhere else.
