Ryan Pratt, a former standout with University of Maine at Farmington baseball as an undergraduate, returned to his alma mater and the program as an assistant coach in October 2021.

“I'm excited to have Ryan Pratt join our baseball staff,” said Chris Bessey. UMaine-Farmington’s head baseball coach, at the time of Pratt’s hiring. “He was an outstanding player and has a bright future as a coach. I was impressed with his desire to coach at the college level.”

A standout player for the Beavers, Pratt finished his career with 34 appearances on the mound, eight wins, 61 strikeouts and a 5.49 era. At the plate, he totaled 15 career hits with a .259 average. Pratt was named to the All-North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Sportsmanship Team in 2021.

Pratt is a 2021 graduate of UMaine-Farmington with a degree in business economics.
