Hattie Huston

Hattie Huston was named the Interim Head Coach of the UMaine-Farmington field hockey team before the start of the 2022 season. Huston took over the program for long-time coach Cyndi Pratt. 

Huston is an alumnus of Farmington, having played four seasons under Pratt from 2007-2010 putting together a highly successful career. She graduated from Farmington having amassed 28 goals and 19 assists. During her senior season in 2010 she garnered Second Team All-NAC honors after leading the conference with 16 goals and 40 points. During that season she received Second Team All-NAC honors. Twice during her senior season, Huston was named the NAC Player of the Week, and she was an NFHCA All-New England East selection.

After graduating from UMF she briefly lived in California where she became a licensed field hockey official before returning to Maine in 2013 and joining Pratt's coaching staff.

Huston takes over the reins having several years of coaching experience. Aside from her role as Associate Head Coach under Pratt, Huston is also a coach for the Coastal Field Hockey Club based out of Portland, Maine and has also been a coach at several All-American Camps coaching some of the best athletes the state has to offer.

A native of Guilford, Maine, Huston is a 2011 graduate of UMaine-Farmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education.
