Biography

2012: Played all 16 games as a key member ofUMaine-Farmington’s back line… arguably one of the topdefenders in the North Atlantic Conference… recordeddefensive saves against Rivier (9/15) and Husson (10/6).

Personal: Daughter of Brian and NoellaDesPres… an English major in UMF’s pre-lawprogram.

Athletic achievements: At Franklin Pierce,DesPres started all 18 games for the Ravens, nominated for theNortheast-10 Honor Roll, named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team andtied for eighth in school history for defensive saves. ... AtSkowhegan, she was a three-year varsity starter, receivingAll-Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Second Team honors, andhelping the Indians to four Eastern Maine Class A titles(2006-2009) and three State Class A championships (2006-2008).

Academic achievements: At Skowhegan, DesPreswas on the KVAC All-Academic Team.

Hobbies: Hiking, hockey, running.
