Biography

2011-12: Played in 16 games… averaged 2.7 points and 2.4 rebounds… notched a season high eight points at home against Colby (11/22) on 4-of-8 shooting from the field... pulled down a season best six rebounds against St. Joseph’s of Maine (11/16) in the season opener… also had six points against the Monks.

HS Athletic achievements: At Thornton Academy, Higgins captained the basketball team as a junior and senior.

HS Academic achievements: All academic team for both basketball and lacrosse while attending Thornton Academy

Hobbies: Music, reading

Community service: Mary's walk

Personal: Daughter of Ed and Beth Higgins… majoring in secondary education, concentration in social studies.

Why UMF? Campus size, professor to student ratio. Able to play sports and still concentrate on Academics
